Hi, my name is Alyssa! I have always had animals in my life and been considered an “animal whisperer” among my family and friends. It all started with the pets of my childhood, mainly cats, rats, and dogs. Since, my knowledge has expanded to include chickens, quails, snakes, lizards, rabbits, and other small animals. In my adult life I have had a rabbit named Banjo, who lived to be 9 years old, and my current cat named Gir, who I rescued at 6 years old in 2016.

I dog walked and pet sat professionally, prior to entering the veterinary field. While working in the veterinary field full time, where I became fear-free certified, I continued to pet sit on the side. My love and knowledge of pets only expanded from there. Animal behavior in particular has always been a passion of mine. I have found studying animal behavior has assisted me with understanding the individual needs of each pet I work with. This has helped me to ensure comfort and gain the trust of animals quickly.

In 2023 I went into pet sitting & dog walking full time, starting this small local business. It is so rewarding to connect with pets, and their pet parents, on a personal level. I love being able to provide security and comfort, knowing your pets and home are in good hands.
