Hi, I’m Sammy!

I grew up not far from the Madison area on a farm. My childhood was spent helping to care for my family dogs, cats, miniature donkey, ducks, chickens, button quails, and rabbits. Before joining Alyssa the Critter Sitter LLC, in the fall of 2024, I had studied to be a vet tech. However, I prefer to be involved with more individualized care.
I have 2 adorable cats, but am also very familiar with exotics and love my snakes & spiders. Over the last few years, I have rescued different arachnids. This including a striped-kneed tarantula, a false widow, and many others.
When I’m not with animals I enjoy working on my art, hiking, and learning more about how to set up reptile & arachnid enclosures.
