Hi, I’m Megan!

I grew up in Fitchburg, WI and am proud to be a self proclaimed crazy cat lady. My love for animals started young, growing up with my family’s pet cats.
Along with always having pets in my life, I started volunteering for cat shelters in high school. I currently help a lot with TNR work (Trap, Neuter, Return) for 9 Lives Rescue. In addition, I work with a shelter to foster cats who need a little more patience and specialized attention. This primarily includes fostering feral, fearful, and shy cats. Not only do I use my pet knowledge to help foster, but I also have a passion for pet nutrition. This passion led me to take a course and broaden my knowledge regarding pet nutrition.

While I obviously enjoy working with cats, my love of animals doesn’t stop there! I also love working with a fan of dogs, reptiles and small mammals. I have worked in the pet industry for multiple years, including pet shop and shelter work.

Currently, I have 4 cats of my own. Jiji (black female 10 years old), macchiato (calico female 9 years old), Percy (brown Tabby male 6 years old), and Ptah (orange and white male 4 years old).
